I have been a Freelance Textile Designer and Illustrator since 1997, producing original artwork for the apparel, gift and home furnishings industries.  Group Four Design Studio, in New York City, represents me.

I have also done contract work for Pottery Barn, Papyrus and Gap, among others.  An example of my work can be found at Pottery Barn Kids.  I painted the illustrations for its wooden ABC blocks, one of the first products it introduced.  Last time I checked, the blocks were still offered in the PBK store, and they are pictured on its credit card.  I also developed a handful of greeting cards for Papyrus that have been in the market for over 8 years.  And if you had a baby (or if you were born) in the late 1990’s and/or early 2000’s, they (or you) may have had one of the many sleepwear prints I developed for babyGap during that time.

I worked as an in-house textile designer for Nordstrom Point of View from 1995 to 1997 and Eddie Bauer Home from 1991 to 1995, developing artwork for women’s wear and home furnishings respectively.

Earlier in my career, I painted by hand.  Now I use a combination of painting and drawing on paper and the iPad, and creating and manipulating images in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.  I present my final artwork in Illustrator format.

I graduated from the University of Washington, in Seattle, Washington, with a B.F.A. in Fiber Arts in 1988.

I am originally from Seattle, Washington.  I currently live in Dallas, Texas.
